As summer vacations wind down and school resumes, The Prosperity Project has lots to celebrate. In this edition of our newsletter, we share some key programmatic milestones worth a cheer or two. We are also giving you an exclusive first look at our strategic plan. As always, we are tremendously grateful for the enduring support of our community and partners that makes our work possible. Enjoy!
Strategic Plan
After months of planning and with the guidance and support of our Visionaries and Founding Visionaries, we are proud to present our Strategic Plan 2023-2026. This guiding document outlines our ambitious but attainable goals, mission, and vision for the years ahead.
A Record-Breaking Rosie Cohort
We recently launched our largest cohort in the Rosie 1:1 Mentoring Program with 110 participants; that’s 55 personalized matches! And we are ready to do it all again. Applications are now open for our next cohort, scheduled to launch in October. Spots are filling up quickly, so we encourage you to get your application in soon.
More Pledges than Ever for ARC!
The Annual Report Card (ARC) helps us identify and report on current and future trends in gender diversity and equity in Canada. We are now recruiting for our 2024 ARC and are happy to report that companies are pledging to participate at higher numbers than ever before. We expect the 2024 ARC report to include our most robust data set to date. Cue the celebration music!
TPP at IIAC
On September 21, 2023, TPP’s Executive Director, Julie Savard-Shaw, will be a panelist at the Investment Industry Association of Canada’s IT’S TIME TO TALK ABOUT THE “S” AND “G” Event. We are always eager to talk about the Social in ESG and look forward to sharing the stage with other leaders in gender diversity and equity.
Get Involved
Looking for ways to get involved with the work we do? We are always looking for community members to support our mission and vision. Here are some ways to help.
- Help Recruit Mentors: If you know someone who would make a great mentor or who would benefit from mentorship, share one of our social posts with them and encourage them to sign up for Rosie! Here’s a link you can use: LinkedIn Post.
- Advocate for ARC: Encourage your organization to consider participating in our Annual Report Card and demonstrating their commitment to gender equity and diversity.
- Donate: We always welcome financial contributions to our mission. All contributions are tax-deductible. Give here.
More Ahead
In the months ahead, we will continue to share important milestones with you. We’ll celebrate the wins and invite you to take on challenges with us. Stay tuned for more. And thank you for being an important part of the TPP community.
